The Institute of Technical Physics successfully trains two system electronics technicians per year in the dual system. Theoretical and practical knowledge from the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, pneumatics and mechanics are acquired in a solid basic and specialised training programme and combined for the development, production and maintenance of electrical devices and systems. Another important part of the training is the installation and configuration of programs for process visualisation. After three and a half years, the apprenticeship is completed with the journeyman's examination at the Stuttgart Chamber of Crafts.
