Statista survey on the best employers in Germany sees DLR in first place in the category of consulting, research and technology and in eighth place overall.
The Institute of System Architectures in Aeronautics was able to answer questions from Stern journalist Lorenz Wolf-Doettinchem and photographer Jana Mai for a personal interview.
It makes us fly even higher: both the German Aerospace Center (DLR)'s top employer ranking in the Statista survey and the great pictures and interview with Erwin Moerland from our institute - in this week's stern magazine (no. 5).
DLR is one of Germany's top ten employers, ranking 8th. In the consulting, research and technology sector, we are even number one!
For us, this comes as no surprise. We feel it. The work is exciting and you can actually balance work and private life.We are grateful to work for DLR. And let's be honest - we are also a little proud to be DLR.
And as Erwin said in the interview: "If you want to achieve something big - then at the largest aerospace centre in Europe". There is another thing we agree on: "There is still something magical about flying - it just needs to become more sustainable". And that's what we're working on!
