Cognitive robotic systems in production
Flexibility in production can be significantly improved through the use of cognitive and learning robotic systems. Such systems enable the automation of individual tailor-made products as well as the natural interaction with people in common work areas. The picture shows a system with two lightweight robotic arms for the automatic and flexible assembly of complex aluminium constructions, which was developed within the EU project SMErobotics.
