City-ATM – traffic management in the third dimension
In order to integrate new traffic participants such as drones or air taxis into the mobility concept and manage their safe operation, DLR is testing concepts for airspace management and traffic control in urban areas in the City-ATM (Air Traffic Management) project using a hexacopter specially equipped for this purpose.
