DLR – Krummendeich Research Wind Farm
DLR's Research Wind Farm is being built on the banks of the Elbe. It will be no ordinary wind farm. The meteorological measuring masts will be up to 150 metres tall and the entire facility will be equipped with extensive sensor technology. The infographic provides a schematic overview of the research wind farm. Trial operations are scheduled to start in the second half of 2022.
