Use in the wind tunnel
The cloud combination probe (CCP) developed by the DLR Institute of Atmospheric Physics is used to characterise icing in wind tunnels. The SLD size distribution was measured for the first time in January, using the CCP probe in the Icing Wind Tunnel at the Technische Universität Braunschweig.
