Below deck, the team from the DLR Institute of Communications and Navigation set up the ‘technical centre’ for the DLR equipment that will receive and store raw navigation satellite data. It will run autonomously for one year. Status updates will be sent automatically to the researchers at DLR Oberpfaffenhofen each week.
