VITA (Virtual Therapy Arm)
VITA is a virtual-reality-based therapy and training system that enables patients who have had upper limbs amputated to undergo virtual mirror therapy or phantom limb pain therapy and learn or practise controlling intelligent robotic prostheses. The Virtual Therapy Arm was developed at the DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics in Oberpfaffenhofen.
