German Aerospace Day in Cologne
On Sunday, 20 September 2015, the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) together with its partners – the European Space Agency ESA, Cologne/Bonn Airport and the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) – is once again celebrating German Aerospace Day at its site in Cologne. On this day, the research institutes will open their doors and introduce visitors to what they do and how they work. It is an excellent opportunity to see and learn about top-level research in aviation and aerospace, energy and transport up close and personal. Astronauts will provide an account on their work and on life as a space traveller.
