We are very pleased to announce that our colleague Maxwell Nogueira Peixoto with co-authors Gerhard Krieger, Alberto Moreira and Michelangelo Villano, all from the DLR Microwaves and Radar Institute, and Christian Waldschmidt, University of Ulm, received the 1st Place Student Paper Award at the European Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (EUSAR 2024) in Munich for their contribution "Producing a Digital Elevation Model Using a Cluster of Small-Aperture SAR Satellites: An Airborne Demonstration".
Maxwell faced a tough competition at a very successful EUSAR with approximately 500 participants from 38 countries.
His paper was published in the EUSAR 2024 conference proceedings (VDE Publishing House), is indexed in Scopus and will soon appear online in IEEE Xplore. Congratulations to Maxwell and colleagues!
