DLR Science Award 2023 - Josef Mittermayer, Allan Bojarski, Mariantonietta Zonno, Michelangelo Villano, Markus Bachmann and Stefan Buckreuß
We are very pleased to announce that our colleagues Josef Mittermayer, Allan Bojarski, Mariantonietta Zonno, Michelangelo Villano, Markus Bachmann and Stefan Buckreuß have been awarded the DLR Science Prize 2023. The official award ceremony took place last Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the DLR Annual Reception in Bremen. The DLR Science Prize is awarded annually to recognize outstanding scientific and technical achievements, especially by younger employees. This work must be documented as part of a publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The winning paper is: "MirrorSAR: An HRWS Add-On for Single-Pass Multi-Baseline SAR Interferometry" published in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, vol. 60, 2022, DOI 10.1109/TGRS.2021.3132384.
