Leo-Brandt-Preis - Dominik Richter
We are happy to announce that our colleague M.Sc. Dominik Richter has been awarded the Leo Brandt Prize "DGON Master of Navigation" of the German Society for Positioning and Navigation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ortung und Navigation) for his master thesis "Coherent Azimuth Ambiguity Removal from Along-Track Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar Data for the Harmony Mission". The work investigates, evaluates and proposes techniques for the removal of systematic phase errors due to coherent ambiguities in interferometric SAR data. The award ceremony took place on November 10, 2023 during the DGON Council meeting at the DLR site in Oberpfaffenhofen and the prize was presented by Prof. Dr. Carlos Jahn, Chairman of the DGON Executive Board.
