This year's "Innovation for Crisis Management (I4CM)" event was held on 12 and 13 June 2019 in Copenhagen. The ZKI presented itself at the "Marketplace of Innovative Solutions" and results and innovative products of the Trial “The Netherlands”, which was organized and conducted in May 2019 with the participation of DLR as part of the DRIVER+ project.
The fourth edition of this event series focused on volunteer management in crisis situations. The aim of the I4CM events is to contribute to building a shared understanding in Crisis Management, to develop synergies between initiatives and projects in this field of work, to bring together different interested stakeholders in crisis management and exchange on best practices and lessons learnt. The event was organized by DRIVER+ and kindly hosted by the Danish Red Cross.
DRIVER+ (Driving Innovation in Crisis Management for European Resilience) is an EU-funded project that supports crisis management experts in devising solutions for complex disaster recovery operations. A total of four crisis exercises (trials) and a final demonstration with the active participation of crisis management experts will be conducted during the project. The aim is to identify and evaluate innovative solutions that meet the experts' expectations and address pre-identified concerns.
