Modelling can be used to analyse and evaluate the objectives of the energy transition and, in particular, to define suitable ways of achieving these objectives. At the Institute of Networked Energy Systems, we develop modelling tools for scenario creation and techno-economic system modelling and optimisation, among other things. We publish the majority of our modelling developments as open source and thus make them available to other experts.
