Workshop "Zulassung - Zertifizierung- Normung" (Admission – Certification – Standardisation) on 20th/21st February 2024
- The workshop "Admission – Certification – Standardisation for fuel cells and hydrogen“ is jointly organised by DLR-Institute of Networked Energysystems, the hydrogen and fuel cell center ZBT GmbH and Fraunhofer-Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE.
- This year's 13th edition takes place in Freiburg.
- Focus: Energy, hydrogen
Hydrogen and fuel cell applications are of increasing importance for the transformation of our energy system. They enable carbon-free energy utilisation and can be used across all sectors. However, the large number of new developments, from individual components to systems for generation, storage and use, requires new standards and regulations. The workshop "Admission- Certification - Standardisation" will take place in Freiburg on 20th/21st February 2024 with the participation of the Institute of Networked Energy Systems and offers a technical level of discussion on this topic. Registrations are still possible until 10th February 2024.
In selected key topics, this year's 13th edition of the event series will take a closer look at practical examples of approval and certification processes for H2-based tank systems, high-pressure storage systems and inland shipping. A standardisation roadmap for the market ramp-up of hydrogen technologies will be presented regarding the area of RCS ("regulations, codes and standards"). In addition, environmental testing standards for individual components and the impact of legal developments on authorisation procedures will be highlighted. The event will offer plenty of opportunities to deepen contacts within the specialist community and ten specialist presentations and numerous keynote speeches and discussion rounds.
"Admission - Certification - Standardisation" is organised jointly by the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems, the hydrogen and
fuel cell center ZBT GmbH and Fraunhofer-Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE., which is taking on the role of host this year.
