Post-Mortem-Analysis of PEM Fuel Cells

As part of the funded innovation cluster "Go-Start BZ", the workshop series on the topic of degradation/service life of PEM fuel cells of the VDMA working group on fuel cells entered the next round on June 12th and 13th, 2023. After the successful workshop on the subject of testing the system, stack and BOP components, the participants went one step further this time and looked at the possibilities of post-mortem analysis. Post-mortem analyzes help to investigate aging processes and defects in fuel cell components and systems and are essential in the development of new, long-term stable components. Both the degradation within a component and the influence on the aging of other components play a role here.
