Research flights with VABENE camera system over Munich

As part of the DLR's internal traffic research project "KoKoVI" (Coordinated Cooperative Traffic with Distributed, Learning Intelligence), research flights will take place between October 22 and October 29 in the Munich and Kiefersfelden areas. Using the VABENE camera system from the DLR's Earth Observation Center (EOC) onboard a helicopter, aerial images will be captured, which will also serve as a basis for further developments in upcoming traffic projects. On October 26, a demonstration of the ALMODA project will be conducted, in cooperation with local units from the Kiefersfelden volunteer fire department.
