4th Urban Air Mobility Symposium

This year's event will focus on research into vertiports and intermodal mobility.

On October 9, 2024, the Institute of Flight Guidance will host the 4th Urban Air Mobility Symposium in Braunschweig. This year's event will focus on research into vertiports and intermodal mobility.

How can air mobility concepts be integrated into intelligent, intermodal systems? What steps are necessary to safely introduce air taxis and the necessary infrastructure into urban and regional areas? And how can new vertiport concepts be developed, built and validated? These and other questions will be addressed at the symposium. The symposium will take place on October 9, 2024 at the DLR site in Braunschweig. Participation is free of charge and open to the interested public. Due to the limited number of 100 participants, registration is required.

Interested parties can register until September 20, 2024. Those wishing to propose a presentation or poster are asked to submit their proposal by September 10, 2024. The symposium will also include the Stakeholder Forum for the DLR project VERTIFIED, which is new DLR project to develop research infrastructure for vertiports. The forum will also be held in Braunschweig on the second day of the event, October 10, 2024, and is open to invited guests only.

Interested parties are cordially invited to take part in the discussions and help shape the future of urban air mobility. We look forward to your participation! Click on the following Link for more information and to register directly for the event.
