SWEET
Space weather, which affects environmental conditions in the atmosphere, is critical to the safety and operation of satellite infrastructures as well as global navigation systems such as Galileo and GPS. Both solar winds and storms can have a significant impact. Therefore, it is crucial to develop an accurate understanding of space weather and to model its effects.
In the SWEET project, we are improving existing space weather models and creating infrastructure for processing, storing and accessing this complex model data. In addition, we are developing a web application that scientists can use to interactively and visually explore and analyze space weather models. In this way, we want to contribute to a better understanding of space weather and its effects.
