Aerospace-X is a BMWK-funded project of the Manufacturing-X initiative. The aim is to drive forward the digitalisation of supply chains in aviation industry.

The work at the Institute of Data Science will focus on the aspect of supply chain resilience by looking at how alternative suppliers can be found in acute crises that are able to produce certain components - with the same requirements that applied to the previous supplier.
We will work closely together in particular with the other DLR institutes in the project:
