The Technology Evaluation Cell (TEC) consists of two Kuka Quantec KR210 R3100 robots mounted on a common eight-metre linear axis. In addition, the system has sufficient space to carry out experiments with large tools. The TEC is ideal for applications where cooperating robots are required, such as the transport of large textile blanks. For this purpose, DLR Augsburg has the software tool CoCo (collision-free cooperation) available to automate the programming of the robots.
