Heinz Knittel has been supporting the AG Turbo programme management since 2012 and heads the compression working group.
He has been responsible for technology management - coordination of national nechnology programmes - at MTU Aero Engines AG since 2005.
In October 2023, Heinz Kittel took over as Head of the Turbomachinery Expert Group at the Research Association for Internal Combustion Engines (FVV e. V.).
In previous years, he worked as a sales engineer for market and technology, focusing on CAX technologies and concurrent engineering in product development and UAV concepts, market analyses, performance evaluations and flight mission calculations.
He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Karlsruhe.
