DESIS - DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer Mission installed on the International Space Station (ISS)Products
DESIS instrument can acquire data from nearly 90% of the populated Earth due to the pointing capabilities of the MUSES platform and the DESIS instrument. Two types of data products can be distinguished. The internal L1A products are stored in the long-term archive of the DLR and are accessible for internal use only. The L1B, L1C and L2A products can be generated and delivered to DESIS science users according to their request.
The fully automated processor works on tiled data (1024 x 1024 pixels) covering ~ 900 km2. It runs on users request and considers processing parameters defined by the users.
