EO4CAM-Workshop – Research Encounters Practice

On October 15 and 16 over 40 participants from Bavarian ministries, regional and local authorities were invited to EOC. In the context of a "Workshop for Government Representatives" – Earth Observation for Climate Adaptation" they discussed concrete applications for remote sensing in measures to adapt to climate change.

Workshop for Bavarian Public Authorities – Earth Observation for Climate Adaptation

On October 15-16, the "Workshop for Bavarian Public Authorities – Earth Observation for Climate Adaptation" will take place at DLR in Oberpfaffenhofen. Public authorities are being confronted with the task of making the economy and society in general more resilient to climate change.

Earth observation supports adaptation to climate change in Bavaria

One day after the Climate Adaptation Act (KAnG) came into force at federal level, around 30 scientists came together at the EOC on 2 July 2024 to take part in the kick-off event for the EO4CAM project. EO4CAM (Earth Observation Laboratory for Climate Adaptation and Mitigation) aims to support Bavarian authorities and decision-makers with remote sensing-based information, analyses and scenarios in the definition and evaluation of measures for adaptation to climate change.
