D-LIGHT+

Within the D-LIGHT+ project, the design of a 9-seater hydrogen-electric commuter aircraft is being carried out. Building on the results of the previous D-LIGHT and FGAA projects, the design process and the developed methods are refined and the use of new components and technologies is evaluated.

The results from the design are used as the basis for the development of several technology demonstrators. Representative demonstrators of an engine pod, a wing segment, and a hydrogen tank are built and tested. The findings from these tests are then fed back into the overall design.
