Innovation Center for Small Aircraft Technologies enables systematic integration with other relevant aviation stakeholders in the Rhineland region (Rheinisches Revier) and the state North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

At DLR, transfer refers to the process by which technologies, ideas and scientific results with exploitation potential are identified, further developed and applied in order to achieve economic and social benefits. Technology transfer is primarily aimed at exploitation by industry. The transfer of scientifically based know-how serves to support decision-making processes in politics and society.
