Cottbus Brayton Heat Pump Summit 2025

This two-day event offers an opportunity for industrial heat users as well as manufacturers and researchers working on high-temperature heat pumps (HTHPs) to come together for focused discussions, technical exchange, and informal networking. The event will take place in Cottbus on 29–30 September 2025. The program includes presentations, hands-on workshops, and a guided tour of the CoBra heat pump lab.

The aim of the event is to:

  • Provide a setting for exchange between experts interested in industrial HTHPs
  • Present recent advances and celebrate one year of successful operation of the unique heat pump demonstrator "CoBra" and present its open research data policy
  • Discuss current challenges and approaches in Brayton heat pump development and integration
  • Explore potential for future collaboration and joint projects

Programme highlights:

  • Presentations on HTHP development and implementations in industry
  • Workshops addressing selected topics relevant to industrial HTHPs
  • Lab tour of the CoBra facility
  • Evening dinner to allow for informal discussion

Participation is free of charge. If interest exceeds capacity, a waiting list may be implemented.

We welcome participants from both academic institutions and industry working on related topics.
