Quantum technologies for space – for the benefit of Earth
Lisa Wörner from the Institute of Quantum Technologies with elements of the Bose Einstein Condensate and Cold Atom Laboratory (BECCAL): Together with NASA, DLR is investigating ultracold quantum gases and condensed atoms – on Earth and in microgravity on the ISS – and is thus creating the conditions for basic research and the development of future quantum sensors.
