New Concepts and Technologies
This team is responsible for satellite projects which, due to their novelty characteristics, cannot be efficiently realized with traditional operational concepts. Especially the nano- and microsatellite segment requires new and non-existing concepts of operations at GSOC. Together with RB-MIT we are working on setting a new standard for GSOC for operating nano- and microsatellites.
Within this group, the training and certification of internal and external flight control personnel, including flight directors, takes place. A close partnership between GSOC and the German armed forces, e.g., the space command and the air force academy, is planned for this purpose.
