At the Career Day at the University of Ulm, our team from the DLR Institute of AI Safety and Security, together with our neighbouring institutes, the DLR Institute of Quantum Technologies and the DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics, presented our work and tangible results of our respective research: we presented the inner workings of a battery, the 3D printout of an optimisation landscape from the field of quantum machine learning and an aircraft model that was designed using generative AI without safety mechanisms and was correspondingly unsuitable.
Over the course of the day, we were able to address numerous young academics, and our inboxes were already filled with enquiries the next day.
