This group is a contact for designing, adapting and integrating optoelectronic equipment in aircraft and for operating it on board during flight experiments and campaigns. It coordinates the user service OpAiRS, which has ISO 9001 certification, in support of methodology related to hyperspectral technology activities at the Earth Observation Center (EOC) and at its partner organisations.
Within EOC the team is also the central contact for technical tasks involving electronics, precision mechanics and UAV use.
