Visualization

In close cooperation with project scientists,  DFD’s Science Communication and Visualization (WIS) unit creates films and computer animations for conferences, exhibitions and television programs. To do so, scientific visualization methods are combined with the technologies of the movie industry. In addition, interactive visualization tools for data analysis are tested, animations made for 3D projection, and virtual landscapes generated for simulators. Besides audiovisual adaptations, DFD-WIS can also offer the entire range of traditional science communication methods.
