On October 29th the Minister of Economy and Technology, Philipp Rösler, visited the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne and was very interested in the new research facility :envihab. Professor Rupert Gerzer, head of the DLR-Institute of Aerospace Medicine, explained the work and the chances of :envihab for current and future challenges humankind faces in space and on Earth. With its wide range of trend-setting research opportunities, :envihab is ideally suited for exploring the future challenges of human spaceflight, as well as for answering important questions to problems, to improve life on Earth.
